A new year is always a good time to focus on change. Whether it’s improving your life, health, career, relationships, friendships or family harmony, there are always some changes that are relatively easy to make and sustain. Your very first thoughts are your best steer – so do it as quickly as you can:

1. What do you believe are the 6 most important values or aspects of life? (eg fun, love, money, friendship, status, marriage, career, health, fulfilment, parenting, companionship, achievement, family, fitness…). Which ones are lacking in yours?

2. What things or activities give you the biggest boost in terms of feeling important/ happy/ fulfilled?

3. What would you do if you knew you would be dead by 2015? (What’s stopping you from starting it or doing it now?)
