It is most helpful to do this with a trained listener who can help you gain new self-awareness and insights so that you can move forward with your life more quickly. All sorts of people now go to counselling or psychotherapy and find it very helpful in resolving a broad range of personal issues.
There are many different types of talking therapy available these days. I am an integrative relational therapist, meaning that I bring together certain aspects of different approaches that I believe work better together, including person-centred, humanistic, psychodynamic and CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy). I can therefore also tailor my way of working to what you need, while understanding that the relationship between us is a vital factor in the success of your sessions.
